What Problem Do You Strive to Overcome?

Healing starts from within. Therapy creates a safe space for clients to express themselves freely and accomplish their goals. Using a Person-centered approach, my goal is to help clients identify their strengths, improve self-esteem, and incorporate holistic healing into their everyday lives.

All clients seek therapy for unique reasons, so it is important for treatment to be personalized in order to suit your needs. Katelynn’s focus as a therapist is helping clients adjust to life changes, reframe traumatic experiences, and empower clients to become the best version of themselves.

Background

Before joining Evolve Therapy Group, Katelynn received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at St. Edwards’ University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Oakland University. She has 4 years of experience working in an acute inpatient facility with at-risk youth between the ages of 8-17, providing group therapy and safe milieu management. Katelynn’s counseling philosophy focuses on a humanistic, person-centered approach. She believes that creating an affirming, supportive environment is key to building trust and meet the needs of a diverse client population.

In my spare time, I enjoy painting, reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with my friends and family. Fun fact: I have been a vegetarian for nearly 10 years!
