SAMANTHA SOUTHARD LLMSW
Client Focus:
Starting therapy can be a vulnerable process for clients. I view relationships as the foundation to growing and healing. In therapy this starts by building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe environment for all to express and process their thoughts, experiences and emotions.
All clients have unique needs which is why I believe in utilizing a variety of modalities such as CBT, DBT skills and mindfulness practices. I put a strong emphasis on client centered care with a strengths based and solutions focused approach. Clients are the experts of their life experiences. My goal is to empower clients in connecting with their strengths, build their self-esteem, and recognize patterns within their experiences.
